Landing Page Analysis

You can have the best ads in the world but if the page you are sending people to does not do its job, you are wasting money. Your landing page is where the conversion happens, its where someone decides whether to get in touch, make a purchase or leave and go to a competitor instead. Getting it right makes a massive difference to how much value you get from your ad spend.

What I Look At

When I review a landing page I look at it from the perspective of someone who has just clicked your ad. Does the page match what the ad promised? Is it clear straight away what you are offering and why someone should choose you? Is there an obvious next step for the visitor to take? Is the page fast enough and does it work properly on mobile?

I also look at the technical side. Things like page load speed, mobile responsiveness, form functionality and whether the page is set up to track conversions properly. All of these things affect whether someone who lands on your page actually follows through or gives up and leaves.

What You Get

You will get a set of clear, practical recommendations on what to change and why. I do not just tell you something is not working, I explain what to do about it and what kind of impact you can expect the changes to have. The recommendations are prioritised so you know what to tackle first for the biggest improvement.

If you have a web developer or designer who handles your site, they can take the recommendations and implement them. If you need help getting changes made, I can point you in the right direction.

Why This Matters for PPC

Improving your landing pages is often the quickest way to get more results without spending any more on ads. If your ads are bringing in 100 visitors a month and 2 of them convert, that is a 2% conversion rate. If I can help you improve the landing page so that 4 out of 100 convert instead, you have just doubled your results from the same budget. That is why I look at landing pages as part of the bigger picture whenever I am working on a clients campaigns.
